Plano, TX, June 10, 2024 – Health Chain announced today that it has earned the designation of a Certified Data Partner in the new National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Data Aggregator Validation program. Health Chain is part of the latest NCQA cohort to earn this DAV Certification, as a testament to our commitment to maintaining data quality standards.

This rigorous program validates an organization’s ability to manage and exchange health data with the highest standards of accuracy and integrity. Earning this designation demonstrates Health Chain’s commitment to delivering trusted data for critical quality performance measurement initiatives, such as HEDIS® reporting, and ultimately, driving better member care.

Trusted Data for Improved Outcomes

“NCQA’s Data Aggregator Validation program helps identify clinical data that can be trusted, and sets a high bar for how the data are managed,” said Margaret E. O’Kane, President of NCQA. “We are excited that organizations [like Health Chain] are working to improve trust in clinical data and help ensure the data’s accuracy and broader usability.”

Health Chain’s Centaur Data Platform breaks down data silos by unifying both FHIR® and non-FHIR® formatted healthcare data into a single, longitudinal member recordusing a secure, scalable and reliable cloud-native platform. This empowers Payers to make data-driven decisions with a holistic view of member data, including clinical, claims, labs, pharmacy, provider and even external sources like social determinants of health (SDoH).

Centaur Data Platform: Validated Accuracy and Advanced Functionality

The NCQA evaluated Centaur Data Platform’s ability to effectively and accurately ingest, normalize and standardize data from the point of ingestion through the output to ensure NCQA’s standards and protocols are met. This validation assures clients that the data provided from the original source is accurately reflected in what’s reported for use as standard supplemental data for HEDIS® and other quality programs.

“We’re honored to be recognized as an NCQA Certified Data Partner,” said Sudheen Kumar, Founder & CEO of Health Chain. “This achievement is a testament to Centaur Data Platform’s commitment to industry standards and its dedication to supporting our customers’ success. Data integrity is absolutely essential for delivering value-based care. We’re proud to help Payers establish a robust data fabric that empowers them with the quality reporting they need to enhance care, reduce costs, and optimize financial performance.”

Centaur Data Platform supports the latest HL7 FHIR® standards for healthcare data interoperability and empowers custom, AI-enhanced analytics modules – allowing Payers to leverage clinical and non-clinical data for advanced insights and optimizing workflows across use cases.

Health Chain: Committed to the Future of Healthcare Data

“Health Chain is committed to continuous improvement and innovation.” said Thameem Ansari, CTO of Health Chain. “We plan to leverage this achievement to further enhance the capabilities of the Centaur Data Platform and expand our services to help Payers unlock the power of trusted data for a healthier future.”
